Buffalo released their first 112 firmwares:

YES, it is same hardware, and in China it's call DVR-112XL. In Taiwan, Japan, other country call DVR-A11XL.

Yes, Chef.
I found the drive selling in China and Japan, origin is china.
No Japan...include the buffalo OEM drive.

It seems rather hard to find stuff produced in Japan.

Does anyone know when this will be released in uk/europe or if it is possible to buy from china now and have it shipped to uk fairly cheap..???

needing a new burner asap but dont want to buy Pioneer dvr-111 if this is due out within next week or 2
