@llatsni have you used the right version (E101) and defeated the second protection (OS/Softwareplayer)

@mike61172
I think yes but it could be that in the patch is an issue. (I have no such drive to test)

Etna,

I have tried flashing the drive, but when I run it through SFDNDOS it comes up with the error message 'SAMSUNG SD-616T DRIVE NOT FOUND!'
I'm running Win98SE if that's a factor, but what am I doing wrong?

Any help gratefully received

HELP

Can someone provide me with a step-by-step Idiot's guide to setting my DVD drive to multi-region capability?

Drive: Samsung SD616F.

The drive is locked but my software says I have one more change.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I successfully flashed my SD-616T samsung DVD drive with E302 and then E303 (tried both with same result) but although dvd info tells me my drive is zone free, everytime I try to launch windvd windows Keeps asking me for a region change which it doesn't do. (the ok tab is not validated once pressed) The new firmware seems to have messed windows regions management. DVD region free has no effect either (even with my orginal firmware rpc-2 )

Can't watch any dvd from any region now.

Please, I need some help.

ps: I got Win2k Pro french sp3.

Thank you ever so much for your reply and firmware. :D
