Okay, here's v1.33 for DVR-A05/105 drives.
This one includes:
- RPC-1
- unlocked 2x speed for ripping
- 2x for RITEKG03
I'll let 2x4all part to >NIL:
To me just RITEKG03 is important, I'll produce a LEAD DATA patch soon too.
You all can grab from my site (see my signature).

Damn, I almost thought I'd have nothing to do...
OK, I'm on the 2x4all then. Thanks, Gradius!

I cannot do 2x4all because I'm really lack of time here. Pioneer did changed a lot routines (addresses), so it will takes a little more time to add your 2x4all routine there, >NIL:
But at last, I give to you some fun also.
updated: Oh yes, TAIYOYUDEN it's in another address now. But now you don't need to patch UPGDVD.exe anymore, only if you want of course.

I think we'll need to patch UPGDVD for the people with the RPC-1 1.30 fw who are getting the message:
"The firmware of target drive is not correct F/W
This firmware is not supported by this program"
Apparently, Pioneer are checking if existing fw is RPC-1, but it shouldn't be too mauch of a problem.

Well, I upgraded directly from hacked firmware.
This is why I said "you don't need to patch upgdvd.exe anymore" above.
Of course, my zip file includes all files necessary to upgrade.

Ppl, sure don't read the messages. :/

just use the UPGDVD.exe included in the new gradius 1.33 firmware release copy it into the 1.30 firmaware release from nil and you can flash back

Sorry Braindead, that does NOT work. Just says "failed to load binary file"
Can you not use the 1.33 drivers while Intel's Application Accelerator is installed?

Anyone care to comment on using the "hacked" drivers with this installed?

Just overwrite REFINQ.DAT from v1.33 with v1.30, simple like that.

Guess we may be talking about two different versions of the 1.33 drivers. Here is the link I got the drivers from: (The Firmware Flash front page.)
http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/i ... FW133B.EXE
(Sorry that link didn't copy correctly)
Is this the "official" firmware and not the hacked version?
I have been reluctant to try the hacked drivers because of Intel's Application Accelerator. Can you not run this with the hacked firmware, or does in simply need to be uninstalled JUST when doing the firmware update?

UPGDVD sometimes fails to work when the IAA is installed. The safe way is for either original and hacked firmware to uninstall IAA. Flash firmware. Install IAA again.
Hope that helps.

Thanks coop. That's what I was hoping to hear. I thought I had read somewhere on this forum that the official 1.33 firmware could not be downgraded to an earlier version. I did not have the .dat file that Gradius mentioned.

Hi nekrosoft13,
the IAA software was always an issue when you tried to upgrade the firmware. Nothing new... However, depl0y's and FLASHMAN's unpatched versions of UPGDVD seemed to work with IAA installed. >NIL: had a patched UPGDVD version for Japanese users because the standard version wouldn't work at all for Japanese users. This version, however, did not work at all when IAA was installed. To make a long story short- un-install IAA. Flash the firmware. Re-Install IAA. Works like a charm and takes out all risks and issues with IAA being installed.
