I downloaded the patch for my Toshiba SDR2002 1w26, went into MS-DOS mode and ran it. The final message was GOOD!
Back in W2K the DVD region is still locked. While the patch was running it wrote...1/60s...2/60s... and then stopped at 20/60s. Is that right? What can I do to unlock the region?

well, what does driveinfo say about your drive? it doesn't matter what Win2K says about it - I'm running Win2K, and after the patch the OS thought it was still locked, but my software DVD players didn't. If driveinfo says your drive is unlocked, it's unlocked. But you still have to have a regionless solution for your software DVD player. If driveinfo still says your drive is locked, unfortunately I can't help you, maybe someone else can.
