Is your current drive Region Free?

If you have more than one vote for the one you use the most...

Woohoo! A new poll!

I put "Not Yet" since it is RPC-2 right now. I will flash it back soon though :)

Well. You should know what means region free... No stupid protection...

In Slovenian:

Pa... Brez glupih regijskih zaščit tako, da lahko vedno gledaš katerokoli regijo želiš.

My Aopen 1648/AMH is still RPC-2 with 2 changes left. So far the only RPC-1 firmware only does up to R12, my drive is R16. I've been looking for a while now and I'm not sure if I'll ever have my drive region free. Might have to do a swap with the oldies for my old 1240/ASH, it's region free.

I know EXACTLY what you mean, I got the same drive in the same situation. I tried a downgrade a few months ago, but the "patch" utility didn't work >: (

If anybody, ANYBODY wants to make/post an url to an Aopen 1648/AMH R17 RPC-1 firmware... I would be very grateful.

Hijacker....

I just re-flash my Pioneer DVD-115 with a new firmware 1.33 and everything works fine. Is this means that now my DVD is region free ?. At this moment I dont have any DVD`s with diferent region to check it, so maybe sombody can tell me YES or No ?... or I still have to install some patch`s to make it region free ?...
