I have a Pioneer PDV-LC10 portabel DVD plaxer. It is code 1, is there any way to make it code free? Any help would appreciated

There's probably a way, but it probably involves modifying the hardware, unless you have some access to the underlying Operating System.
I think you should ask DVD players retailers if they can change your drive to zone free. I know that some of them can do that (at least in Europe)...
