I own a Samsung SD-612 DVD-ROM drive and I checked every place on my search for a RPC-1 firmware for my unit and never found one, just the standard RPC-2 of my version 4 firmware and all the other versions are now RPC-1 (3,3.5 and 6 are RPC-1 patched) can someone help me out to make the version 4 a RPC-1 unit? For all your help thanks.

I also have Samsung sd-612s sf04 drive and I mannaged to make it RPC-1 with ss07d_c.bin patch which you can find on this site in the DVD session. You must flash the drive through DOS with dos boot disk though, cuz it wont work through windows...By the way I used sfdndosm.exe to execute the patched firmware - it worked perfectly!
