The output from discinfo was provided in my first post. Laptop was released in August 2011. It must be SATA, but unfortunately I can't find a flashable TM* firmware.
Is there any way that I can get the firmware as a dump from the drive? I'm running out of ideas, besides getting an external USB drive...
