I'm looking for firmware for TSSTcorp TS-T632A Slim slotload. I have version SRO3. I'm runing this in a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop.I'm running XP Pro, SP3, 2GB ram. I'm burning 8.5 GB dual layer disc. The first disc I burned took a half hour.the next one will not burn over 0.7x, takes 2 hours, will not even finish.

OK, I think whats going on.
A good start to find out the issues would be if you could post a logfile from such a burn, eg. by using Nero or Imgburn. Imgburn recommended. Go into Devicemanager, check the drive properties and enable DMA mode. Also check the transfer mode in the BIOS (hit F2 or F10 or F12 or DEL when starting up). Then, post the brand and rated speeds from the used media. Also the MID, which you can find out by using Nero cd dvd speed, Imgburn or DVDinfopro, Opti Drive Control etc.
And did you only burn or was transcoding involved??
