Let me see if I'm reading that correctly ... when you say 'ANY version' you mean crossflashing in between ANY OEM versions? OK, as long there's a kernel for a given OEM version and DVRFlash support for that drive family, crossflashing shouldn't be a problem, but for the BDR-S06 ('Retail' BDR-206 with Kernel Version: ID43) for example there's no available kernel to allow a crossflash ... so unless you've found a new way to do it, that should not be (normally) possible? So far there are only two BDR-206 kernels available, namely GENERAL (BDR-206 fw1.0x) and OEM_EXT (BDR-206 fw9.0x), but there are no kernels available for the BDR-206D (Kernel ID58) and the 'Retail' BDR-206 version (Kernel ID43). If you've found a way to flash back and forth between all of these in spite kernel unavailability, that is one major achievement! Gradius wrote: Unfortunately this is not the real Kernel.
What exactly do you mean by that? By "any version" I mean revert back from a determined version (you cannot flash an older version for example, only newer FWs). For real Kernel, I mean = forget RPC1 patch for this one still.

| Just a note: "Added support for media (layer 3) BD-RE. (Panasonic 2x Writing)" means write support for BD-RE XL! |

TSST SN-506AB Blu-ray Writer Firmware FT04, Released 07.02.2012, Fujitsu-Siemens OEM Link: http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download/ShowDescription.asp?SoftwareGUID=2EC132EA-1987-4CDD-8B22-C408CFA93C6B&Info=FTSChange log: Quote: Changes from FT02 to FT03:
1. After using BD-RE/TL, an internal parameter is not cleared at putting DVD-R/SL, DVD-R/DL, DVD+R/SL or DVD+R/DL media into ODD. So, at writing DVD-R/SL, DVD-R/DL, DVD+R/SL or DVD+R/DL media after using BD-RE/TL, the PUH strikes media many times. 2. The writing quality of BD-RE/TL 3rd layer is not good. OPC writing length becomes longer than old FW. 3. Fix for the Linux automount issue.
Changes from FT03 to FT04: 1. Fix for Reading and booting problems from WinXP CD-ROM.

Samsung / TSST SE-506AB Firmware TS01, Released: 2012-05-02 Link: http://www.samsungodd.com/eng/Firmware/ ... iew&no=761For some reason they've placed it somewhere in the middle of the update list amongst the April updates instead of the top of the list, so I've just spotted it now.

Is this TS01 at the same level like the FT05 for the SN?? I mean, for real its the same drive..... Hard to say for Samsung firmwares, the file content seems quite different when compared at HEX level (not sure that is a relevant factor or not or just a 'compilation side effect'), but the file creation dates of the two binary firmware files are just 2 days apart, so they might well be based on the same root...
