The forum suffered a hard drive failure, and was off line for sometime on Friday. In the process the site was re-enabled with old backup, which has been restored now. Anybody making posts over the last 24hrs, that cannot locate them. Please post them again. This will also be the same for Registration's during this time.

Kind Regards

It would be nice if you could mention that gmx.net is on the spam blacklist as well. Thanks.

I got the message

and looked for clues, but only yahoo and gmail were listed as blocked in this thread.

Very odd. I don't have any gmail address, only gmx.net and my own domain. If you're interested in debugging this further, please take a look at the e-mail address in my profile. I used another domain to register, then switched to the address which caused the spammer rejection yesterday. Maybe the local part of my mail address was too long, or maybe the filter blacklists gm* (gmail and gmx start with the same letters). That's speculation on my part, though.

Yeah, thats really odd. I checked any suitable combination, but there is no sign of gmx or gmx.net ban...

Sorry for the trouble.

Chef it will more than likely not be within the admin page. As the forum registration was changed last year, if you can remember. The process now, means on registration. The email address supplied is checked against known spammer addresses via an external database. So If gmx is listed there, our registration will flag it up and not allow it. I here what flashprogrammer is saying about it not been posted. But the known database could take a massive amount of time to post each individual host.

Request Firmware Section has been checked and useless threads without information or what is required have been removed. Can i remind all users, simply posting i want firmware is no good to anyone, or is just posting the drive details. Please read fully the sticky for requesting firmware.

Regards RPC1 Team

Just to clarify the registration on this forum for new accounts. Due to excessive spammers and inappropriate posts, newly registered accounts must have there posts approved by an admin or moderator. Once you have posted on the forum 10 times, this limit is removed and your account is fully functional.

If you have any issues regarding this, or you have 10 posts and cannot post without approval, contact an admin or moderator.

Regards RPC1-Team
