Could you post a logfile, either from imgburn or Nero.
Nero does store them in the nero folder under logfile*.*, IIRC.

What DL brands have you used, at which speeds and what is the MID of these discs?

Used disc: Fortis, DVD+R DL 8x, Media ID: CMC MAG-D03-40, burned with speed 2.4x. Today, problem is with data verification - two times. I cannot read what was burned. From log:

Use nero cd dvd speed and run a verify.

Will let U know, when I buy next few dvds. Going to try DVD+DL Verbatim. Because those wrong burned DVDs ended in garbage.
Is any software on google, which could save firmware from laptops dvdrom ?

On google is nothing else than entries...................

Firmware is special software, drive based, to be handled carefully.

Verbatim DVD+R DL is your best chance, almost any DL capable drive should work with them.

Just burned another 3 DVDs, Verbatim DVD+DL, when verify, it looks that it can not read 2nd layer.

Then verify slower or with another drive.

Just burned Verbatim 2 DVD+DL, burning process went OK, but 2nd layer can not be read, neither in another laptop.
