HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS21N

Ok nothing new here but I did not find a post with my drive listed. I need help unlocking my drive. It is now set in region 1 and I need it set for no regions as I use region 4 and 1 dvds. Regions are so stupid now in the world we live in. [-X

Especially for people that are bilingual as well. Please help me make my drive which is a HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS21N region free and please give me the step by step cause I am no master of computers. Thank you so much to whoever can help me!

The answers are there if you look for this drive. You haven't given us any details or what operating system you have. so we cannot help you.

I did look for this drive and did not find it specifically. I am using MAC OS X 10.6.6 my drive is a HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS21N and it has firmware SA18 what else do I need to give you?

yeah I hope you aren't being funny. I am not either. I found the thread you referred me to and it was of no help to me. Again I have no clue what I am doing and need some step by step help with this thank you if you can help with that.

what i linked to tells you what to do. Not much anyone can add, but follow what it says. also the following thread

easiest way is of you can connect into a windows based system, but the links give a tutorial of what to do.
