Hi guys.
Can anyone give me some hints or suggestion in choosing the best 9.5mm slim slot load optical drive to replace the old one inside a

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009)
MacBookPro5,5
MB991LL/A (2.53 GHz)

Blue-Ray burner are not required since the hardware doesn't have enough resources to support BD, so I'm looking for a fast and reliable DVD burner.

Any hint?

Such drives are called super slimtype with slot-in technology, you'll have not much of a choice because they are rare and the y are known for not being reliable especialy regarding dvd burning.
