Looking for RPC1 firmware (region unlock) 2.0.0 for GH22LS30

Following the "Firmware Request Rules - Read Here(2010.07.10)" best I can.

http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=38756

I have seen a previous "Firmware Request for LG DVD RAM GH22LS30" thread:

http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=44671&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=GH22LS30

But there is no discussion of 2.0.0 (or 1.0.3)

I see official 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 in the download area:

http://files.rpc1.org/index.php?act=category&id=1804

LG have since released 1.0.3 and also 2.0.0:

LG web is down this second - link to google cache:

(first result)

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=LG+Product+Support+for+GH22LS30

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:1VD-kQbvhUcJ:www.lg.com/us/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp%3FcustomerModelCode%3DGH22LS30%26initialTab%3Ddocuments%26targetPage%3Dsupport-product-profile+LG+Product+Support+for+GH22LS30&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk

MCSE page says that only LG GH22LS30/GH22NS30 1.01-1.03 is supported at the moment. I assume this means I cannot use MCSE with 2.0.0 but I can use it fine with 1.0.3 even though 1.0.3 is not in the download area yet? I am on the right track?

right database has been updated to list both the 1.03 and the 2.00 release. MCSE supports these now. so download which you require. Open the file in MCSE, and follow what it states about standalone flasher. And then yes to work with binary. Apply RPC1 Patch and save. Run what you saved and that's it.

Now playing region free on 2.0.0.

VLC plays just fine but Windows Media Player does not like it (as expected).

It is surprising Cyberlink PowerDVD (v7.0.3320.0) bundled with the LG drive also plays region free just fine. Wunderbar!

Anyone had a problem with the flasher program crashing
i cant get it to start at all

Tried
Windows 7 x64
Windows 7 32bit
Windows XP 32 bit

It just says HLDS Common flash tool has encountered a problem and needs to close

im plum out of idea's and sick of installing diff copy's of windows

It used to work on this machine as i upgraded to 1.02 a while ago

The only thing that has changed is i have gone from a Core 2 duo to a Core 2 Quad
