Hello i just bought a Mathita UJ-870 QJ 1.00 in ebay. My laptop recognize it but it cant read any cd or dvd. Its making a sound like it tryes to read it but... nothing.
So i was thinking maybe its the firmware and downloaded from the other topic from this website the F/W Loader UJ-870 for Vaio V1.01 but it says it does not apply to the dvd-rw driver that i use.
Any tips how i can make it work?

My laptop model is Zepto 6625WD, my old driver was a Samsung SN-T082 slide-in and my new driver that doesnt work is Model No. UJ-870, HW:1.00 FW:1.00 , Manufactured July 2008, Serial No. 8GBRA217277 , BAL-A ,[S] and on a sticker says AS NF1S8814120013.

Drive i was meaning. I misswrote it. So do you maybe know the reason why it doesnt work?

The problem is that Zepto is bankrupt. I dont think its possible to get support from them...
