The Firmware Page

I wasn't sure which category to post my question.

I am trying to find info about firmware updates for a Sylvania DVD/VHS combo recorder, model DVR90VF. Sylvania's website(actually Funai manufactures and brands for Emerson and Sylvania) is useless.

A sticky would be great for standalone DVD recorders. I've searched the other categories and it appears that I would have to remove the case to read whatever info is on the drive inside, then post my request??

The Funai family is never going to get another dime from me--the online support is a joke.

TIA--research for standalone/non-PC recorders has been quite challenging in regards to firmware troubleshooting.

if there website hasn't any, your out of luck, usually you download them to a cd and run it via the recorder, only hope is to email them
