Hello, I flashed my LG GGC-H20L (retail with the official firmare 1.03) with an HP firmware (v1.07) : http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/gene ... =en&dlc=en. But now i can't flash it again with the LG official firmware 1.03... because the official firmware does not recognize my GGC-H20L as an LG drive. How can i do to reflash it with the official firmware ? Best regards

Sérgio use MCSE to patch the firmware. or post a discinfo output which will help us identify your drive

I have a lot of problems with this drive at the moment, though the real problem probably is Cyberlink Powerdvd which is giving me a hard time all of a sudden. It also set the hardware dvd region twice, so I'm looking for a way to bypass this. The only way for this drive is to use MCSE? I tried to use it. Had the 1.03 firmware, opened it in MCSE, checked the "RPC2 auto reset patch" and changed the dvd-region, but it still got a -1 on the counter. What did I do wrong, or how does it work? Here a screenshot of dvd region info:

If I turn off my PC, doesn't that count as a power off for the drive?
EDIT: Ooooh, I see now it has been resetted! Awesome! For some reason it has been set to region 1 instead of 2, but oh well. Tx!

Greatly appreciate any help. why we always ask for discinfo output so we can advise members. Did HP not say something to you, when you seen it in the name. At the moment there is nothing available that can reverse this. Should be possible though.

While I appreciate it was a stupid mistake, I downloaded it from another site that did not indicate that it was HP...
