I've just bought a "Death Race" BD but found it cannot be played on my LG GGC-H20L.

The problem is that my Windows XP (or say, the LG drive itself) cannot detect the disc at all. The volume label of the drive just changed to "CD Drive", but when I click it in Windows Explorer, it told me that there is no media inserted into the drive.

Because of the above reason, I cannot play the movie with PowerDVD8.

Is there anyway that I can "tune" my LG Drive so as to read the disc? Below is some of the information for checking:

OS: Windows XP SP3
LG GGC-H20L firmware: 1.03

Please let me know if any more information is needed. Many thanks for helping in advance!

I would first contact the publisher of the movie, then LG support too.

I have sent email to LG support. For the movie publisher, I don't think it is appropriate since I have tried the disc on my brother's HTPC (with Pioneer BD/DVD Combo) and can read the disc everytime we put it in. That's why a tweak on my LG drive might be necessary to read the disc...

Death Race has been a pain in the backside, there have been many players that cannot play this disc correctly, LG standalones, and more, as far as i was aware, you could get an exchange, but this i don't think was relevant to PC drives
