I decide to do som test on my Samsung TS-L633L (HP OEM Firmware 0400)
Flashed SC01 firmware via Tsdnwin.exe -NOCHECK on my TS-L633L and the worked after reboot,
RPC1 firmware is not available for TS-L633L.
Checked TS-L633L SC01 firmware in Hex editor for Crossflashing and found this name inside TS-L632N so am downloaded TS-L632N-SC02 RPC1 and flashed via Tsdnwin.exe -NOCHECK and worked after reboot and now the driver is RPC1.

Now im tested to use MediaCodeSpeedEdit to patch TS-L632N SC03 to RPC1 and after im compare org vs rpc1 in Hex Workshop and put the patch code in TS-L633L SC01
(found all replace code) flashed via Tsdnwin.exe -NOCHECK and worked after reboot and now i have Samsung TS-L633L RPC1 on my HP Compaq Presario CQ50-100 Notebook PC :)

Flash Test
TS-L633L 0400-> TS-L633L SC01 -> TS-L632N SC01-> TS-L632N SC01 RPC1-> TS-L632N SC02 RPC1 -> TS-L632N SC03 RPC1-> TS-L633L SC01 RPC1

-nocheck is the command you input, so the flasher doesn't check the firmware revision, and thus flashes the drive

Hey guys, for all of you that have a problem with "-nocheck" and how to use it, you need to start the program through the ms-dos prompt. copy and paste the file onto your C:\ drive and then type into the ms-dos prompt: c:\Tsdnwin.exe -NOCHECK

After this you can select the file you want to use to flash your DVD and it should work. Took me ages to figure out. I was already trying to edit the binary file of the firmware and the .exe file of the tsdnwin program. Lol...

Hope that could help someone!

Hm, makes me wonder if anyone here still remembers the time when windows still were what they are called - windows...?!
Nothing about click & clack. No GUI, no colour overkill. Just plain 2 colours.

Gimme a sign if you need a commandline / DOS / *nix / shell lesson.

Hey Guys,

i have a quick question. I flashed my drive with this firmware version. The only problem is that i can only burn at 10x or higher speed. I want to be able to burn at slower speed like 1x.

What do i have to change in the firmware to be able to do this?

Thanks

Smiler51

to have quality media, then there is no need to burn at such low speeds, especially 1x, its not this myth of i must burn 1x for games, buy quality media

I mainly use Verbatim media, but for some reason, my Navigation system always has problems reading the CD's/DVD's if they are burned at a high speed.
Then there is of course the problem that Companies always switch their suppliers. One time they buiy the blank Media form this company, the next day from another.
