Guys,

If, like me, you are paranoid at making sure you have regular backups of your system, well, I've just found some new software that you should consider..

For years (and still do), I've used Ghost to create an Image backup of my systems using a bootable CD.

Great stuff.

But, I've just found 'PowerSuite 2008' from the rather odd named 'Spotmau' software house.

Edit:

I maybe wrong about neediing your own ISO burning software because the package comes with an ISO burner called 'BurnCDCC' (no, I've never heard of it either).

However, it does state that it may not be compatible with all burners (although I have to say that it worked fine with my LiteON)...

You really should take a look at this...the download generates an ISO (so you will need Nero, ImgBurn etc.) to use it, but then, upon booting the CD, will offer you a wealth of options.

In the UK, it costs around £35 (inc VAT), but seems worth every penny.

Try it, and see what you think.

Go here for download and details:

Hope this helps some of you (and you should regularly keep backups of your system).

tjs
