ok i am looking into a problem that i cannot work out

i am trying to bur a image using image burn using my gsa-10a o4 frimware it does the image perfectly and sets the correct booktype with image burn

but the image does not work in the nav system

note peeps are using the same image but using the pioneer 112d drive haveing great sucess in the navi system

why is it that MY LG drive AND OTHER DRIVES do not produce a correct working copy but the pioneer 112d does this

the media is +DL verb and or RIDISC

what do you mean by that? the firmware is only RPC1 from TDB'S

ok i am burning or trying to burn a buckup of my audi nav dvd dual layer

the image is in clone cd format i.e i have a file with extension .DVD and with it it has my images iso listed.

i slect this (like a cue file to burn my image on dual layer) but just don twork in my nav system.

now reading other forums they mention i need to use a pioneer drive(which i think is [*Bologna*]) but peeps seem to be getting the results when the use that burner.

i am at the moment using ridisc +r DL

i will try verbs but will it make that difference.

is there any difference between the pioneer 112d and the lg gsa-h10a that could possibly make the cd work and not work

from reading the forums and the firmware i think its the same just speed differences

The pioneer 112 auto sets the booktype to DVDROM for DVD+R DL by default, the LG you need to set manually, using something like nero or dvdinfo

I repeat, crappo media...

Use Verbatim DVD+R DL as your best chance.
