The Firmware Page

HI , I have the above drive and want to flash the f/w.

Currently I can not use it at alll because it is set as a master think and my laptop wants a slave. If I connet it another laptop how can I ensure it is changed to a slave?

Any ideas?

you need to have firmware that will set the drive as slave, that link is an RPC1 firmware only, and is for a drive in an IBM laptop, if yours is not, then don't use it

the RPC1 link, is going to the homepage, because our database has not been done yet for this new forum and server, so any old links will just default to the main forum page

never seen any for this, if you search the forum, i'm sure there is a way to short two of the pins, to bypass this, on the link issues, there isn't any timeframe as yet
