i want to replace my dvd rw drive but i am having hard time opening up this sony case. i check esupport on the net but they only offer HDD replacement tutorial. Anyone know where to find a tutorial for my Vaio Model PCV-RZ40C1B???

Cases used for premanufactured computers are often difficult to open up. One design that I have seen a few times is to have a sliding top on the case which hides the way that you remove the side panels. See if you can get the top part off, then you should be able to slide up the side panels.
