A little question regarding MCSE
Is that correct the RPC-1 patches are introduced automatically when I click on 'Save Firmware' menu item?
I'm currently trying to convert my Pioneer 112D (flashed into 112L Buffalo 8.29) into RPC-1 drive. Is the following sequence correct?
1) load Buffalo 8.29 (from Koba's package) into MCSE;
2) just save the firmware;
3) flash the drive.

there is no 8.29, current is 8.21, which you would load into MCSE, and tick the rpc1 patch box and then save it, remember to replace the original with the patched, or rename the original to something else, the patched needs to be the same file name as the original

I tried to find answer for it but nothing came: the h62n -> h62l crossflash, does it enables lightscribe (or, maybe better said: does h62n has the sensor)? What are the gains? Where can I find more info?

you cannot gain lightscribe from crossflashing the 62n

The H62N<->H62L crossflash was added so the H62L users can use the newer H62N CL01 firmware, which disables LightScribe.

How do you crossflash 62N firmware to the 62L?
I have the 55N but my friend has the 62L and flashed it to 62N and wants to crossflash back to 62L.
Will this be included in the next or future release of MCSE?
Any idea why they chose to release one firmware and not both like they almost always do (not a request just wondering)
Or can the Drive ID be saved in the patched firmware to change the ID back to 62L?
He tried and did save it as 62L but still comes back as 62N when flashed.

Well it's not my burner but LG shouldn't let the 62N firmware be able to flash on the 62L drive, the MCSE does state it does allow crossflash from 62N to 62L. Well his drive still burns ok as a 62N just have to wait to see if it can be turned back into the 62L for Lightscribe.
