Pioneer 107d problem

Hi! I can do the upgrade of this firmware: DVR-107D v1.21 - RPC-1 + 12xRip + nx4all.zip because the dvd-r verbatim were writing to 4x. After this upgrade, the first dvd verbatim are writing to 8x, but the next dvd don't writing and reading!!! What's this problem? Can you help me??

The modified firmware may enable all speeds for some discs, but that does not guarantee that every burn will be a success.

Spend some time to find out what brand/speed of discs works well with your drive and stick with that.

or better still update to a new drive that will burn the disc at the correct rate

The problem is that now read and write cd, but don't read and write dvd....what's this problem????? help!!! :cry:

try cleaning it, it maybe the drive is just old

Cleaning it is a good first step.
Then if you have further questions about burning, please post a logfile from eg. Nero or Imgburn here so that someone could help you with.
