@ Kyren,

Welcome to the Forum.

From the very limited information you have provided it appears that quite possibly you have a Nero Software Problem.

Suggest completely removing whatever version of Nero you have currently installed and using Nero's Clean Tools confirm that all remnants are removed. Then visit the Nero Web Site (http://www.nero.com) and re-install the newest most current up to date version of Nero available.

Regards,
Coaster

have you tried lowering the burn speed, sometimes these errors occur with burning the media to fast, also have you used different CDR, you are using ritek yes?

@ Kyren,

Yes Nero version Nero 7.9.6.0 is the most current version available at this time/date. Perchance did you uninstall Nero, use the Nero Clean Tool, and then re-install Nero 7.9.6.0 as suggested?

Your Cyberdrive CW088D Drive has version 110F Firmware which is old and out dated. Suggest up dating to the newer more recent version 120F Firmware ->

I was actually having the same problem, and I Cant for the life of me find up-to date firmware. I emailed Nero and they suggested thats the root of the problem, I couldn't even change the write speed, no matter what I did it always wrote at 48X.

Since the Cyberdrive site is down, and has been forever..
Does anyone know where to get up-to date firmware for a Cyberdrive CW088D

By the Way.. The link in the past thread is broken, its a link to their site which is non existent.

@ Aries,

Welcome to the Forum.

From reviewing your CDFreaks Forum posting of 28 Feb 07 it appears that you have been looking for Cyberdrive CW088D Firmware for sometime now.

As far as I can tell from information contained in the provided reference that CyberDrive (CyberHome) is a division of Argus Electronics Co., LTD (http://www.embeddedstar.com/press/conte ... d4302.html). My Google Search snooping indicates that it has been a long time since of Argus Electronics Co., LTD has released any products under the CyberDrive (CyberHome) brand name.

Sorry to say that it appears due to unavailability of Cyberdrive CW088D Firmware your only course of action is to obtain a newer more current up to date mainstream Drive.

Regards,
Coaster
