I have a Matshita UJDA740 (Dell laptop) and have patched it using the patch found from this site. I've got driveinfo22 which tells me the drive is now region-free. However WinDVD (4.0) wants me to change region before it will play a US (region 1) DVD. If I go to the Windows device manager it tells me the drive is set to Region 2. It was set to "not selected" immediately after I applied the patch, but WinDVD seems to have changed it back again. Is there some registry magic I need to do here?
