Hi. Your problem might not be with the DVD disks, but with the software you're using. I used to think I couldn't burn anything but DVD-RAM disks on my Toshiba Satellite A100-326, which too has a Matsushita drive. I tried all sorts of burning softwares
, from InterVideo WinDVD to Nero, to DVD Shrink
, and I couldn't burn any disks.
Then I found out about "ConvertXtoDVD", tested it, and it works fine. At least on DVD-R disks. This software converts AVI, Mpeg or WMV files to DVD, and also merges them, in order to get up to four hours of a movie or TV episodes into one DVD. Download the trial version to see if it works. I see no reason why it shoudn't. Good luck!http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
I don't think that's the real problem.
The mistake you made is "I tried all sorts of burning softwares" which will only increase the trouble and also "DVDShrink" is no burning program.
If there should be burning apps recommended then that should be FREE ones in the first place, namely CDburnerxp and also the wonderful ImgBurn!
Also, your post sounds more like an advertising than a real help to me.
