Hi,
I recently updated my Drive (Original Model: GCA-4080N 0W33AA )
to sony OEM firmware from your page...
now i have problems burning DualLayer-DVD.
now I downloaded firmware 0W34 to flash it back, but it say's "Can't find the target drive" . Is there any way to bypass the drive id check of the firwware patcher ?

thanks in advise

@TDB
Aren't TDB autor of the tool " TDB's LG WINDOWS FLASHER" ?
is there any possibility to make a custom firmware update exe for the 0W34 firmware with this tool instead of using the "drive updater" that doesn't recognize the drive ( rpc1 firmware updater) ?

greetz and thanks

Hello. I recently misflashed from a Fujitsu-Siemens 0w33 to the NEC 0n37, and could not flash back. I tried pejakm's method on a different forum, where you stop the flasher that DOES recognize your drive using task manager, and then use the original flash you want. It actually worked! (http://club.cdfreaks.com/f91/lg-4167b-dj13-f-w-178883/). I have no idea if this can be applied to your problem, but I thought I'd send you the idea.
