hi. my drive (lg 4522B) has been updated to firmware version 1.08. it has no problem reading cdroms, but recently, i find it's unable to even recognise dual layer dvd which i got with a magazine. i hv checked the combo with nero 7 and it shows that this drive shud be able to read dual layer dvd. i had the dvd disc also checked on a friend's dvdrom and its runs perfectly there.

wat can i do to solve this prob?

thnx in advance.

Either the dvd part is damaged or needs to be cleaned.
