I've got the Pioneer DVR-110D 1.17 and was wondering if the "PIONEER DVR-110 BUFFALO 8.37 RPC-1 *MAXRIP* FULL AUTO-BITSETTING FIRMWARE" nullz posted was the "best" one or if there was an updated version with the same features based on the 8.39. I'm kind of confused by all the different versions and didn't know what is the most current version. What's the best RPC-1 firmware with QuietDrive vs the best one without it?

bitsetting isn't supported by pioneer drives, so no software will show you any options, the 8.39 allows automatic bitsetting, so its done automatically, so no software needed

If i burn DL-R, the bitsetting is also automatic there?
i`ve been using Ridata DL discs for the 360, to this moment i burned 3, none works.
Now im gonna try with the Verbatim media.

for 360 games you need dvd+r dl, it needs the proper layer break and rom bitsetting

im using ridata +r dl and they work fine in my 360 and i have a pio 110 with 8.39

I give them max two weeks before they are loosing their content (even without been used).

I made a couple of scripts to install and uninstall Buffalo 8.39/Asus 1.41
They work perfectly on an Asus DRW-1608 / Pioneer DVR-110D

http://mallegonian.hacked.in/files/Buffalo839.rar [2.03 mb]

Sorry for the speed, my webserver is slow as hell. Feel free to host it yourself. I will try to keep it hosted for as long as I have the bandwidth.
I take no credit for the original scripts (from the bottom of the first post), I just modified them to make my life a helluva lot easier.
