The Firmware Page

I have a Gateway Solo 5300, and I just recieved a Matsushita (Panasonic) UJDA330 drive, when I enter BIOS setup it tells me that there is no drive found.

I go into Windows, and use the bay manager software that came from gateway and I mount the drive with that and it functions.

I have already re-flashed the firmware on the drive (since the new one for this drive is also this drives default firmware and with another laptop that detected it in BIOS) and i have flashed the Laptop's BIOS as well with no detection.....


if this helps the drive was part of a Dell Setup before I purchased and installed the drive.
