Well I had a recent DVD Writer that went out. Im looking for a new DVD Writer on eBay.

Im just wondering what you guys think I should buy. Whats a REALLY GOOD top of the line brand and what brands should I stay away from

what do you want out of the writer? rpc1, riplock, bitsetting etc

I'd say he would want one that had good write quality and tolerate el-cheapo media.

Steer clear of the Optorites. They are terrible.

I normally recommend Pioneer or NEC but I wouldn't know what they are like now. I have an old NEC ND-2500A and still going strong.

Well I got a 100 Pack of 4X Khypermedia disks. That im looking to burn. Im looking for a burner mabey 8X to 16X.

That is the wrong way.
Buy a good burner and then appropriate media.
