Hello,

I'm trying to apply the latest firmware update for my Pioneer DVR-110 which has been flashed from a DVR-110D originally. Current firmware is 1.37 under Apple System Profiler.

Using DVRFlash for Mac OSX.

Trying now to flash to v 1.41. Downloaded FW files from http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_file.php?site= ... 10_141.ZIP

My output from Terminal is below:

[color=blue][i]mark-ryans-power-mac-g5:~/desktop/DVRFlash Mark$ ./DVRFlash -vf PIONEER RA100010.141 RA100110.141

Hi, I am seeing exactly the same problem. My 110D is currently at 8.37 firmware and trying to go to 1.41.

Try -f instead of -vf in the command line.

Yup, it's a little mistake in the DVRFlash readme coming from earlier days.

LasVegas itself strongly recommends not to use the -v option when flashing a drive. ;)

Hi,

Thanks for the tip of trying -f instead of -vf. Unfortunately, now I get a different error as per my output from Terminal - "Could not open device PIONEEER"

mark-ryans-power-mac-g5:~/desktop/DVRFlash Mark$ ./DVRFlash -f PIONEEER RA100010.141 RA100110.141

Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

Mark.

Thank you. Very sorry. I realised after I posted back - tried to delete my post but you had already replied back to me!!

I have now successfully flashed the drive.

Again my apologies.

Mark.
