Request of firmware SONY CRX-310EE

Wanna upgrade my SONY DVD/CD-RW combo CRX-310EE to be rpc 1,
it is inside a DELL machine.

There is NO firmware - so there can't be a RPC-1 firmware...

Also DELL drives are crippled. Use software solutions...

The 310ee combo is machine specific, and as chef says no firmware is available, contact dell for any possible updates

thanks for your suggestion,
hope someday there will be a cross upgrade to other similar models,
The Dell always use some specific models of hardware, make people harder to upgrade it.

just a thought, try using LtnRPC, i expect that should make it rpc1

I tried the Ltn RPC on my sony crx310ee in my dell dimension and it worked. I tried playing region 3 and 1 dvds and the 5 tries to set the region is gone. It is now a regionless dvd player.
