I am also interested. I have searched and searched and came up empty. If anyone can help,I'd appreciate it. I went to Dell Website, but no help. I have a Dell CPx-J Laptop with this drive. I purchased the drive off the net, but cna't get it to work. I am running Win2K which should not be a problem from other people I've talked to.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

I am running Windows 2K on a Latitude CPc-J. This driver doesn't appear to work. I've tried several times but no luck. Do you have any suggestions??

You have a DELL OEM drive, the firmware is probably unique for Panasonic branded drives only.

What firmware is on your drive?

I followed the following instructions and got this far:
For Windows 2000:
> --Goto Control Panel
> --Select Administrative Tools
>-- Select Computer Management
>-- Click on System Tools icon
>-- Click on Components folder icon
>-- Click on Multimedia folder icon
>-- Click on CD-ROM folder icon
I do not see the PNP Device ID.
>-- Locate PNP Device ID
>-- The firmware revision is listed after the drive string and long
underscore.
NOTE: you might needed to click View from File Menu and
select Advanced to expand the information

All I got to display is:
"Drive D:
Description CD-ROM Drive
Media Loaded True
Name Matshita UJDA-330
Manufacturer (Standard CD-ROM drives)
Status OK
Transfer Rate Not Available"

I can't see the "PNP Device ID"

HELP!!

Use either your burning app to find out the firmware version, or a tool like Nero infotool, DVDInfoPro, Discinfo, ...

please refrain from posting such things, deleted it all, this is an english based forum, not a chinese translation service, use babelfish or something like that
