Hi, I got hold of a Freeom USB 2.0 CDRW and it shows up in Buning Softwares as a "GENERIC FREECOM40B1", I took it out of the case and it actually is a NEC NR-9200A, is there anyway to flash the original NEC Firmware ? iv'e tried both the NEC Flash and MTKFlash but no luck, so has anyone tried this ?
Oh forgot to mention when I tried the Flashers, the NEC one says No NEC NR-9200A Drive found and when I used the MTKFlash I used it to back up the Firmware but didn't work it just Froze, would it be Possible to edit the NEC Flasher so it recognises any drive so then I could just flash it and see ?
Regards
DoC
