...I found that quite interesting, when the flasher detected a 110D and a 110 Multi writer on the same bus, it dumped out that error-diag. I had previously not seen this, pre 110.

The 8.22 version available can be used to crossflash the Pioneer DVR-110D? How could I do it?
This version has Bitsetting for SL media?
TIA

well at least we all know better on what to watch for, but unfortunately not everyone is like that. I hope no one buys this drive and is dissapointed it is 12x slower on CD burns. No DVD burner burns up to 52x do they though? 48x is the highest yes?

8.22 is Buffalo variant, just like the 109. Here his hopes that it contains bitsetting for SL +R media like the Buffalo 109.

Exactly, it's not firmware related or specific.

its a nero bug?? thats weird. ok i'll update nero and see what happens.
FYI: i havent changed nero in a long time. it is more than possible however that older nero versions are not compatible with the new rom in some way. i'll see what i can find.
edit: i was on 6.6.0.15 latest is 0.16
Updating now...
