Really, I like more this site, by the way, my posts were all for you. I only answered about my AOpen, did you remember it? I was sure that it was a 105s, because the firmware says: AOpen 1640 Pro 1.09 (without A), but taking a look to the stamp above the drive, it says that it's an A.

Well, I'm about to patch my drive with the Kirill firmware, hoping all will be OK

Well, I was afraid of the Kirill patch, but I've just read in the releases section that the patch it's OK. Sorry for being silly and for not had taken a look to the stamp

Yeah, 1.09 looks more like a 106S revision of firmware than a 105S. I think you have a 1640A indeed and should patch it with the 106S firmware. Sorry for mistaking everybody with Mr Kirill's patch. What happened on friday is that I compared his 1.22 version of the 106S against Pioneer's 1.22 version of the [b]116[/b]. Thus I was really puzzled to see so many differences... Stupid me! Enjoy!:D

Well, thanks to Kirill and NIL too, my AOpen 1640 Pro-A it's now a fully functional Pioneer 106 RPC-1!
