Personaly, I think the problem is that the firmwares in samsung's site (the old and new versions) has a speed limit for some reason.... I read in some forums something about that the cd's coud break the cd-rw in max speed.......and I think the solution is an old firmware that I can't find

The only problem would be the quality of the discs. Make sure you are using good ones. Even you use such you have used before, their quality can always change.

Some firmwares here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1520

Thanks for the help!!!! I try with all of the firmwares in this link and with the same results (40x max write speed) except the r700 firmware with 16x max speed!.... with relation of the cd's quality, there is the same TDK bulk that I write at 52x before the upgrade......the think the problem is a max speed blocking that it produces after upgrade with any firmware version.....maybe the solution is find a deblocking metod.....thanks again and any new idea is wellcome!!!
