lite-on ltr-52327s , bios detects it and windows does too but it will not recognise any cd you put in it. im using the firmware QS0E for it and have tried many others but to no avail , please help.

What methods did you use for flashing? What was the drive's original firmware version?

Guys I've got the same problem. I've updated from QS0C to QS0E5A and it read nothing. Then I tried to flash back to QS0C, but the error occured: "No matched drive detected: This utility is only for LITE-ON LTR-52327S drive.
Detected drives:
1-0-0-0: LITE-ON LTR-52327S
2-0-0-0: AXV CD/DVD-ROM "
the latter one is an Alcohol 120% virtual drive. i tried without the virtual drive,but no result. Then I flashed older fw QS0E58, but the problem still the same. what would you advise?

okay boys. i've just tried to downgrade to QS0C with flashfix and voila !!! it did it :) :D now my drive is the old-good lite-on !!!
