i got my teac 532E-B firmware upgrade but i can't get in to dos in my win xp. does anyone konw hot tu upgrade it or how to get in to DOSS
please help me

need help again
have the boot disk but cant get in to c: or any else just flopy disk works in dos
when i try to flash the teac it writes file not found
why

i insert boot disk and restart my pc
in takes me in to dos but can use only a: (flopy disk)
i cant use primary c: or any else so i get an error like this on when i try to flash the cd-rom
***filename not found
i put files on the flopy disk because i cant do noting on my harddrive in dos

Your harddisks probably are NTFS formatted so they cannot be accessed from FAT (which includes a floppydisk) unless you have special tools like NTFSDos...
Remove all media from the drive you wanna flash.
Put the required files on the floppydisk, boot from it and flash your drive.
After flashing has completed, switch your pc off for a few seconds, then restart and check the drive properties.

I hope you wait until the flash finishes and confirms OK, then switch off your PC.

this is what hapens when i try to flash it
p.s. i got me a ntfsdos and did it just like you told me to stil the same [*Profanity*]
i tryed it from c: and nothing
