Hi
I have just RPC 1'd my DVD Lg GDR 8161B,with flashup and firmware 0102rpc1.dld,confirmed no region protection with drive info.Enabling me to fit this into my Dvd Player (set as master and a 80 pin cable)a Daewoo 5000n whose loader was on the brink of failing,skipping,not seeing some movies etc.
Not only is it back in full quiet service,it will now read and play +RW and -RW dvd's and probably all other formats,but those i've mentioned is the only type i have available.
Bloody marvelous.

I saw Hijacker's and Nils nicknames allover on the Hall Of Fame an I Think they Deserve It.
At least The Hall Of Fame as I think whoever who had his hardware improved or better fixed and saved +400 $ should donate something.
I'm trying but i don't know how as PayPal is not availiable in Albania

I'm one of the grab and go people, needed firmware for a sd-c2512 and i looked at this forum,with a little research i found information for changing this drive from a secondary to a master... it worked great! Thanks to ZENG and all the other posts that helped me find my answer. GOTTA LOVE IT !!!!!

A big thank you to the beer and crisps DUO, Vlad & Igor (TDB). I have region freed so many DVD's will no failures. Even their Beta's seem flawless.
