I am in a mood to add some new subforums that has no connection about firmware whatsoever. We could let's say talk about the game that has just been release or how my dog just now learned how to sit on command :)

How about it? What should I name them.

I don't know much about firmware, yet. But it seems to me that you could extend your number of topics in the direction of firmware for other machines, bots and other old and new hardware of any type. I know this is just a forum but some links to howtos on firmware or hardware hacking (I am not talking about cracking ;) ) would be a good add-on to this great site.
What do you think? :P

Well I also do not know anything about firmware, but I know a lot about computers and programming. What exactly do you have in mind?

I had a quick search for firmware and Robots. I think you might find some interests with people who own Sony Robot Dog: Artificially Intelligent roBOt - AIBO. It seems you can store the firmware which contains what the bot has learned, and hence his behaviour, on memory sticks. I am sure that some of these people would be interested to discuss there bot's behaviour and may be exchange there firmware...

I also think that some hackers like to play with bios and other firmware of old game consoles and old computers. They may be interested in finding discussion forums for this, although these may already exist.

Also check LEGO, the toy company, they have some kind of bots (http://mindstorms.lego.com/) with which you can play with firmware.

New Subtopics could be "Bots firmware" with Lego Mindstorms bots and Sony aibo firmware as first subtopic, and "Old consoles firmware".

What do you think?

Not a bad idea. The firmwares in the robots can be interesting. Soon I am planing to update the forum to the new version of the XMB core. I had to consult with the main boss Arzeno about adding the new subforums but I don't think there will be trouble.

Thanks for suggestion.
