I don't know if anybody out there agrees with me, but it would be great to have a RSS Feed from RPC1 ORG.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's a great idea. I'll look into it since I don't know much about it yet.

Are you wanting an RSS feed of the news from the main portal page, or of all of the threads in the forum?

Main portal page would do greatly for me!

I've been looking into phpBB mods a couple of weeks ago, and I think I saw a couple of RSS feed mods.
The only thing is, RSS clients can generate a lot of traffic at the same time, as most of them are configured to fetch the feed at regular intervals (or even more stupid, smack down the hour), and since most people arrvive at work around the hour, you end up with a lot of RSS traffics a few minutes past each hour, and very little in between.

Since RSS is not that commonplace, the server should be able to handle that, but it might generate a lot of traffic very quickly, and we'll have to see if it's that good an idea if the end result is to slow down our site, especially if we set the whole forum on RSS.

Also, our regular phpBB admin (Hijacker) is quite busy with other stuff so it might take some time for us to grant all your wishes with phpBB

It will be nice on the threads because there are people fan of LG, other of NEC, other of Pioneer and...
So it will be nice on threads because I don't wanna follow news and diccusion from some brands.
If it is very dificult, on the news from the portal will be very very good !
