Do you mean software DVD players or standalone DVD players.
Either way, I don't think we will create a section for that.
As this forum tries to revolve aroud firmware issues, discussing software players is better left to other firmwares.

As to discussing firmwares for standalone DVD players, the problem is that manufacturers simply never release these kind of firmwares like ever. The subforum would be very short of any kind of discussion if all that is ever posted to it are requests for information on a specific model.

It's a bit like creating a section for firmwares of Hi-Fi soundsystems or even HardDrive firmwares.
As interesting as it could be, if nobody has any advanced information on them, the discussion will be pretty limited and the section will be a very dead one...
