I try to flash my old benq 40x12 cd/rw with a new firmware which result in bad flashed drive. Instead of flashing it firmware exe just done it's malicious job in second giving me a note that drive has been flashed.

After restart it was sucessfully recognised from BIOS and in Device Manager but it won't read anything nor even try to recognise any CD.
With ImgBurn and BQFlasher drive is recognised with the old firmware 1.MB instead 1.HB that i try to flash. Of course benq firmware exe doesn't find it anymore when I try to reflash.
I give it a try with a BQFlasher, but it won't work on old cd-rw .exe and says that there are no firmware in those exes. I look these .exes

and there are some "compiled sections" beginning with one, two .... nine instead a raw or compressed binary. If anyone know how to revive the drive or any idea what to do it would be appreciated.
[edit]
Does anyone know how to extract binary compressed firmware from that exe so that could be used with BQFlasher without many questions asked cause there's Philips chipset in that burner and BQFlasher has developed routines for flashing these ones.
