Hi, i have a problem with my Acer Burner model: 1832A-002 (10x8x32x)
When i connect, it show current activity, but it wont OPEN when i press the button, its dead.... may be this is a mechanical problem.
I just opened the unit and it doesnt show anything out normal like a broken piece, something loose, etc... all is "ok"
I dont know when happen it....
The unit is detected by BIOS, but nof for Window$.
What do u recommend me to check, the motor that move the tray ? i have electronic instruments to verify the board or any that it need.

Yes it could help to check the motor but I would suggest a new drive...
