Hello, guys!
This is my first post here, and unfortunate for me, i'm not making it to say 'Hello' only (as i would like to)!
I am having a trouble with my LG BH08LS20. I flashed my drive with this firmware (BH08NS20):
http://buffalo.jp/download/driver/hd/br-h816_fw.html

Before that i had this one in my rom (BH08LS20 ver. 2.0):
http://drivers.softpedia.com/progDownlo ... 86448.html

I didn't realize that the same flashing program would not recognize the firmware again when i try to restore the last one.
Now i'm desperately trying to bring back the BH08LS20 ver. 2.0, but the drive won't appear in the drop-box. I supposed,
that the reason for that is the consideration that the BH08LS20 ver. 2.0 is older than BH08NS20 and no drive is update-needed. Is there any other way to flash the rom again with the 'older' firmware. I tried the flasher.exe from the forum and
i got the main and the core firmwares extracted from the .exe installer package from the above link. But i just dont know what to do with these 2 files (core and main firms).
Many thanks in advance to anyone, who have the good will to help me.
Best Regards!

Thanks, man, but i tried the one from your earlier post, because i don't want to lose the LS:
http://www.filefront.com/14951793/BH08LS20_1.00-03.zip
Works perfectly. Great!
The only thing i have to deal with now is resetting the Region Counter. I don't know if I'm able to do that considering the fact that region free firmware is still unavailable for BH08LS20 at this time. If someone could give me some tips how to do it
that will save my day! I tried with MCSE, modify the firm and then flash again with no success.
I hope i am not breaking a forum rule or something, asking continuous questions, but this gonna be the last one for now.
Thanks in advance!

The RPC2 AutoReset patch works fine. Read the FAQ to understand how it works.

As far as i understand, when the counter is set to 0 (and only in that case) the RPC2 AutoPatcher will revert it back to 5.
If the counter is not 0, no change is been made to it even after RPC2 Patching is applied.
Please, confirm if that is correct.

FAQ, MCSE patch will revert it back to factory setting if you have no changes left, only then. the rest is explained in the FAQ
